During my formative years, I was blessed with extremely sensitive and oily skin, which was the catalyst for my strong interest in skin and hair care. I experienced joy in reading and researching help for the skin condition I faced daily. I read every article, book, label, ingredient, and product testimony I could get my hands on.

Professionally, I moved into the field of education but maintained a keen interest in the skin and hair care industry. After a couple of years, however, I stepped away and returned to my first love. One of the most rewarding experiences I had after stepping away from education was working as a skincare consultant for Estee Lauder Cosmetics, where I was regarded as one of the leading consultants in the Ohio Region. 

After a couple of years, I returned to education but maintained my interest in skincare by working part-time as a skin care consultant for various cosmetic companies, including Clinique Cosmetics, NuSkin Cosmetics, and Aloette Cosmetics.

I woke up one morning knowing it was time. Time to start my own business. I was ready. I retired from my position in healthcare and located a vendor in Kenya where I purchased hand-crafted earrings and African fans. I later added exfoliating body scrubs in three fragrances and massage oils, which were natural products I made. After noticing that many vendors at community events were selling similar body products I decided to create a product for men.

I have always admired a well-groomed beard. Musical artists like Marvin Gaye, Barry Gibb, Kenny Rogers, Barry White, and Gerald Levert were a few of my favorite artists with well-groomed beards. Most importantly, I know that ingredients that are good for skin, are also good for hair. I knew that I wanted my product to contain all-natural ingredients.
